Hey there! My name is Tobias Bachmann. I’m a director, cinematographer, and colorist based in Karlsruhe/Stuttgart.

Sports have always been a huge part of my life - so it’s no surprise that I bring this passion into my filmmaking whenever I can. What drives me? Crafting powerful visuals and telling stories that truly resonate with audiences.

 

During my diploma studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, I produced three sports documentaries. PROJEKT OBERHAUS (2024), a documentary about first-division volleyball in Karlsruhe, was entirely planned, shot, and edited by myself.

When I’m not out shooting, you’ll find me in my color grading suite. There’s a certain kind of magic in grading - every detail in every single shot gets the attention it deserves. Pure dedication to the craft.
